Retama monosperma is a plant of low elevations in mediterranean regions with their hot, dry summers and cool, moist winters. The plant was doing just fine until one day when i decided to take it down to pull out some of the dead leaves at the top. Prune back the plant and place it where it can receive diffused light.
Best grown in bright light.
Bridal veil (gibasis) will produce a profusion of tiny white flowers if given the proper growing conditions. Place the plant in the hole and backfill with the excavated soil. Bridal veil requires very little light in order to thrive and prefers soil that is slightly moist. The bottom part of the plant still looked wonderful, but the top part was completely dried up.
